Mission 1:27 Project – 5th Edition (Operation Easter Blessing)

Mar 24, 2018

We are so thankful to God for the success of our Operation Easter Blessing. On March 24th, we executed another food distribution to the precious widows and widowers of Igosun, Kwara State, Nigera. We distributed over 3,000 lbs of food. With Easter approaching, many of these individuals are not only in need of regular nourishment but this distribution allows them to celebrate and feed their families on this special holiday.

It is such a blessing to us to see the excitement and sense of gratitude from our widows and widowers. Their gratitude never ceases to amaze us. Each distribution they become more and more thankful for the continued love and care being demonstrated through the Ebunlomo Olagunju Foundation.

There is really nothing that compares to the feeling of reaching out and giving to those in need. God is so good to each one of us. Ruth Ebunlomo Olagunju, our namesake, is so touched and honored by all that is happening in honor of her and although a widow herself, she continues to financially contribute to the foundation. The generous life that she has lived and continues to live that prompted the start of Ebunlomo Olagunju Foundation is still actively present right to this very moment.

Once again, a great big thank you to the Implementation Committee, Board of Trustees and our donors. None of this would be possible without each and every one of you! We are blessed to be a blessing! “The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.” – Proverbs 11:25 (NKJV)

Enjoy this poetry as performed by Deacon John Oladipo at our event.
