We are so thankful to God for the success of our Operation Christmas Blessing. We were excited to have the opportunity to distribute food right before the Christmas holiday. This was the first time that timing and coordination worked out to have an extra special food distribution. Our goal was to not only distribute food but to also provide each one of the widows and widowers a gift in addition.

We took extra time to locate a storage bin that would serve them well in to the future. In addition to the bin, they were personalized to commemorated the event, Operation Christmas Blessing, with a special Christmas greeting and blessing for 2018. The recipients and our honoree, Mrs. Ruth Ebunlomo Olagunju, were so touched. A container may not seem like a big deal to some but to those in Igosun, Kwara State, Nigeria it was a huge gift. These types of containers are not easy to come by as they are costly. The specialness of this container is the lid snapped on tight to protect whatever was stored inside.

Because of the generosity of our donors and the specialness of this gift, we had the privilege to extend the give well beyond the widows and widowers. Such a joy it was to be able to bless almost 400 people from the widows and widowers to the local ministers and extended out to other people around who needed a little Christmas surprise. All those who received were so grateful and once again the generosity of the foundation lit up the excitement in the village. The gratefulness is overwhelming and so touching. The people in Igosun truly demonstrate thankfulness and gratitude for all that has been given through the foundation.

Once again, a great big thank you to the Implementation Committee, Board of Trustees and our donors. None of this would be possible without each and every one of you! We are blessed to be a blessing! What an amazing Christmas it was.
